Paul Dunnavant comes from a ‘certified’ financial background and has served as the Company’s in-house CPA since 2002. OK, OK…, not everyone needs an in-house CPA, but with True South, we make sure we have covered all potential bases. Actually, in addition to the CPA thing, Paul has been in the retail, high-end development business since 1993 with Jerry and his other partners. Together, they have successfully developed properties in coastal SC and mountain properties in NC and WV. Paul champions our team’s focus in keeping the properties we develop in top shape from a design, construction and funding angle. When Paul is older and sitting in his rocking chair, I am sure his grandchildren will often hear his infamous quote "We are building communities that we will be proud of 25 or more years later…after our work in that community is done. To us, that is the real measure of success." Paul is not all pocket protectors and mathematic equations however, his casual side highlights his love for nature as he may often be found bird-watching or boating. Those who get the rare opportunity to observe him closely will surely find him eating his fair share of chicken wings too!
Jim Vivian is the member of our team that asks the most questions (someone has to). He thinks of our communities as extensions of his childhood sandbox. Now Jim's sandbox was never like other boy's and girl's, even then his were always just a little more innovative and full creative features. Jim has carried this childhood dream into his current position and strives to make sure we are always ahead of the innovation, conservation, style, and marketing curve. In his previous life Jim worked with Arvida / Saussy Burbank and the Allen Tate Company in Charlotte. Jim received his education at Texas Christian University and the University of Mississippi. Of particular note: The very best hamburgers and banana pudding are, without any doubt, at "Kincaids" in Forth Worth, Texas.
Grant Holcomb has surfed in Hawaii, panned for Gold in California, and spent most of his young life fishing the open waters of the Western Coast of the United States. Today this experienced sales representative and land planner is most at home talking about the perfect sign post, digging in the dirt for a boulder that is "just right", or spending hours listening to our customers tell us their ideas as they pertain to the perfect community. Grant is the member of our team that makes things look "stunning and superior". In his spare time, Grant loves hanging out with his wife... fishing pole in one hand and gourmet spatula in the other.
Kristy Summer has experience as a licensed sales representative and is well known in the community of Aiken where she was born and raised. Kristy is the team member who brings it all together for us. She is the "dot the I, and cross the T" person. When asked about Kristly, her peers could go on and on about her many gifts and talents, but the one attribute that strikes you most about Kristy is that she is simply "nice". She is the one we look to when we need a confident smile or warm "how are you". In Kristi's spare time she may be found hunting fox.... (We promise she really is nice!) and riding her favorite horse named Greyson.
Catherine Carroll is our Client Concierge and the team member who handles most of our marketing. Catherine would rather have a happy customer than just about anything in this world. She is the kind of person who strives for excellence in our message, communication, and business philosophy. Catherine's mind is always in motion, ideas spring forth like the fountain of youth! In her spare time she is the mom of one son, and three dogs. Her favorite past time is well.... thinking of new ideas! Those that do occasionally get to experience her in a non creative mode find her reading a fashion magazine or searching for the newest hole in the wall restaurant.
